Hello again! well this is really been quite a while and I do apologise I have been moving house and then I fell ill and this illustration has taken me about a week, so when all that is going on a month does just fly by!
Anyway I am back to new illustrations now so I thought I would warm up with a Cara Delevingne illustration
Today has been a “stay in and wait for the handyman” kind of day so I did an illustration while I waited (He still hasn’t showed) and I while I’m on my colourful streak I decided to do a Cara Delevingne illustration since I haven’t done one since she shared my illustration but credited someone else by mistake (great moment for me if she knew it was me that did it)
So decided with the colours to mix warm and cool tones together on the skin as it creates quite a cool effect
Hello…is it me your looking for? Got to love a bit of Lionel Richie.
Wow have I been busy lately! My wedding is in 3 weeks! (squeaky bum time folks) so I haven’t had a lot of time to do an illustration, i’ll try to do another one before then but at the minute I have had no time!
Heres my latest illustration for you anyway as you can probably tell i based it off Kate Moss and added about 50 million pearls (ok i know its not that much but when I was drawing them it really felt like it)
Sorry it has been like 3 weeks since i last posted, Shocking!
Been quite busy these last few weeks I have been ill, broke my toe preparing for wedding and preparing gallery work so I haven’t been idle (or very careful if the state of my hands and foot is anything to go by)
Anyway I watched the little mermaid the other day and decided to do another little mermaid illustration, It’s my favourite Disney film as a child and I still love it. I wanted to have her hair, isn’t it just gorgeous? I grew up jealous of red heads because they got to look like the little mermaid and I had dirty blonde hair… I wanted to be a disney princess dammit!
Anyway If I can’t have prefect red hair I will have to settle for drawing it.
Oh the time does fly when your obsessing over tiny details of a illustration I wish I could draw in like 5 minutes so I can spend the rest of the day relaxing…
Anyway I am back to doing my horoscope work, to be honest I sort of wanted to get virgo out of the way a bit, its sort of well…. boring. It very hard to make a Virgo illustration different from an ordinary one well all the other horoscope have so much to play with, but virgo just gives you a Virgin girl and it can be a bit difficult (I can say that being a virgo myself)
Anyway I actually liked how this turned out in the end I decided to give her a halo of sorts
Storms, thunder, lightening and hailstone? Perfect weather for Illustrating!
I have been wanting to illustrate Rihanna for a while now and when I saw her in this fabulous (and revealing) dress last week for her CFDA award for Fashion Icon of the Year I simply knew I had to draw it! Took a while to manage the time to do it but I spent today blitzing through it and I liked how it turned out. Again couldn’t decided between colour and black and white so I have both for you guys
Hope you like it
