Got bored as my husband is currently on a away day with work (I think thats just code for a day off work getting drunk in the business world) In the illustrator world that just means extra “me time” which equals working (but its fun to draw so its not that sad and pathetic)
So since I started adding colour to my illustrations I decided to give some of my old illustrations the Technicolour treatment and I decided to start with this one as its my most popular illustration I have done so far.
Today has been a “stay in and wait for the handyman” kind of day so I did an illustration while I waited (He still hasn’t showed) and I while I’m on my colourful streak I decided to do a Cara Delevingne illustration since I haven’t done one since she shared my illustration but credited someone else by mistake (great moment for me if she knew it was me that did it)
So decided with the colours to mix warm and cool tones together on the skin as it creates quite a cool effect
Sorry for being a little slow with my illustrations for the past couple of months I have been really busy lately… because I am officially a married lady! Also had my 27th birthday as well on Monday but now its back to work and reality which is a little bit sad but its a good thing I love my job.
So anyway it’s back to regular posting so I started back with this vintage girl. I have been feeling a little colourful lately I may keep it.
Hello…is it me your looking for? Got to love a bit of Lionel Richie.
Wow have I been busy lately! My wedding is in 3 weeks! (squeaky bum time folks) so I haven’t had a lot of time to do an illustration, i’ll try to do another one before then but at the minute I have had no time!
Heres my latest illustration for you anyway as you can probably tell i based it off Kate Moss and added about 50 million pearls (ok i know its not that much but when I was drawing them it really felt like it)
Sorry it has been like 3 weeks since i last posted, Shocking!
Been quite busy these last few weeks I have been ill, broke my toe preparing for wedding and preparing gallery work so I haven’t been idle (or very careful if the state of my hands and foot is anything to go by)
Anyway I watched the little mermaid the other day and decided to do another little mermaid illustration, It’s my favourite Disney film as a child and I still love it. I wanted to have her hair, isn’t it just gorgeous? I grew up jealous of red heads because they got to look like the little mermaid and I had dirty blonde hair… I wanted to be a disney princess dammit!
Anyway If I can’t have prefect red hair I will have to settle for drawing it.
